RadiantBrands: An Overview of 2010
RadiantBrands completed a range of projects in 2010. From interactive seniors, frozen yogurt, pet products and construction to high finance and saving islands one acre at a time, here are the highlights of some of our successful engagements from last year.
Consumer
MYO Pure Frozen Yogurt — Growing a frozen yogurt retailer. MYO is a premium-quality frozen yogurt chain that is quickly expanding in the Northern California area, from the Monterey Peninsula to the San Francisco Bay Area. RadiantBrands developed the MYO brand, including naming and visual branding as well as the look for each store, creating a contemporary and inviting experience for customers. Radiant also helped them launch their Facebook page, which has attracted over 5,000 friends to date.
Pet Food Express — Building the local brand for a pet products retailer. RadiantBrands worked on both the store design and marketing program for the launch of four new stores in the Bay Area for local retailer Pet Food Express, including new locations in Burlingame and Pleasanton. Each store is an extension of the Pet Food Express brand, with a unique spin for each local community. RadiantBrands developed the colors, materials choices, signage and murals that brought the stores to life in their neighborhoods and also coordinated the look with ongoing marketing and advertising efforts.

SeniorityMatters.com — Building an online community just for seniors. Over the course of 2010, RadiantBrands worked with a South Florida-based company to launch a new website providing key services to seniors, and enabling members to interact as a community, follow and attend events and get quality products and services. The key to success for this custom-built website was including a CMS (content management system) that allowed for ongoing updates, comments and interaction to promote participation. The site is designed to be attractive and readable for seniors and won an award as one of the best senior web sites in 2010.
Finance
Patpatia & Associates — Building financial services site. Patpatia & Associates is a national financial services consulting firm focusing on developing and implementing investment programs for companies. RadiantBrands developed and launched a new web site that coveys the key value proposition for Patpatia & Associates: Growth Strategies for the Financial Industry.
Nonprofits
The International Council for Ophthalmology (ICO) — Rebranding an international organization. RadiantBrands worked closely with the ICO to develop a new brand identity and brand strategy to help expand their global membership. Our work included interviews with ophthalmologists in South America, Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe, as administering a survey used to gauge priorities and focus for the engagement. We rolled out the new identity system and and applications to collateral and website design.
Seacology — A non-profit saves islands and rainforest, one acre at a time. Seacology is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to saving island ecologies throughout the world, including coral reefs, island culture and rain forests. RadiantBrands worked with Seacology to develop online advertising and supporting web pages; the campaign ran during the 2010 holiday season. Built on Facebook and Google pay-per-click advertising that asked individuals to give $40 to save one acre of island rain forest or reefs, the campaign was wildly successful, meeting its financial goals.
Development and Construction
The New Californian — Naming and marketing a housing project. RadiantBrands was engaged to name and market this new housing project in Berkeley featuring 165 units of market-rate apartments. The complex has all the amenities of modern apartments wrapped in unique California design motifs, reminiscent of classic buildings of the 1920s like those on the University of California, Berkeley campus. The name, The New Californian, targets those seeking housing near the Berkeley campus. RadiantBrands also created a new website and an online marketing campaign that drove potential tenants to the site. The project was completed in May; by August 2010 the building was 90 percent leased, meeting all the company's goals.
Earthtone Construction — Creating a mindful and sustainable image. Earthtone Construction is a respected construction company focused on demanding residential and commercial projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. During 2010, RadiantBrands was engaged to help this company build its reputation in the North Bay/Wine Country area as a trusted resource for those wanting to build, delivering an ad campaign for local high-end publications.
