BGDI REBRANDS MOBILE MODULAR, A LEADER IN PORTABLE STRUCTURES

BERKELEY, CA - December 2, 2004 - BGDi has completed a rebranding initiative for Mobile Modular, a leader in providing portable buildings to industry and schools in California, Texas and Florida.

BGDi worked closely with Mobile Modular's management to identify the key elements of this brand, and conducted a survey with typical customers and sales people to understand the motivations of the market and the communications challenges facing the brand.

"We focused on understanding the total brand environment," said BGDi President Steven Donaldson, "which would give us the basis for developing targeted positioning and creative.."

Mobile Modular has a well-established culture of customer-centered practices, so this was central to the positioning strategy. The promise is stated in a new tagline developed by BGDi: "Your Project - Our Commitment."

During the process of designing the visual brand, it became clear that the brand mark had to have high visibility outdoor signage, a key selling vehicle for the company. A strong, vibrant color combination of blue an d orange was selected to meet this need.

BGDi also delivered a complete brand style guide to ensure consistent application of the visual brand across all media.
